Most of the site’s traffic came from a few holiday recipes—great in November and December, but risky for long‑term growth. Kitchen Growth Media reviewed analytics, search trends, and existing posts to identify which seasonal recipes could be refreshed as “anytime” dishes with new positioning, keywords, and on‑page elements.
New supporting content was then created around those refreshed recipes, such as variations, how‑to guides, and roundups, all internally linked to spread authority across the site. Category pages and the recipe index were also adjusted to highlight these evergreen hubs year‑round instead of just during peak holidays.
With these changes in place, the site’s traffic became more stable: holiday spikes still happened, but baseline organic sessions outside of peak months increased, giving the publisher more predictable revenue across the whole year.
